Frightful Meeting

She tried to pin him down, and even with the Sharingan withholding some of her anger, she still was furious.

"I'm not anything of yours, for you to tag!" she yelled annoyed.

"You're my hostage, I'll tag you if I damn well feel like it!" he roared, pushing himself up and forcing her off roughly.

She cried out in surprise and glared looking at him.

"I'm not yours!" she yelled angrily. "Not your hostage, not your pet, not your anything!"

"Oh yes you are!" he snapped."
"And you'll stay my hostage until I see it fit to change that."

She glared and savagely tried to tackle him once more. She didn't want to be in this position, she refused to be anything of his.

"I will kill you!" she growled.

She tried in vain to pin him down, by pushing her weight down.

He was ready for her this time, and took advantage of her momentum as she came at him, flipping her on her back and sitting atop her.
"You can try, Kiri."

She let out a frustrated moan and tried to slap him. She couldn't admit defeat to him.

He pinned her arms down and continued to stay where he was.
"Well?"

She was breathing heavily and glaring at him.

"I will get out....just watch" she murmured looking away.

She didn't feel comfortable with him being atop of him. Suddenly she had that idea so she turned to face him and parted her lips slightly.

"Will you get off of me?" she let out breathlessly.

He was a bit taken back by her sudden change in tone; and frankly it gave him a funny feeling he couldn't quite name.
"I might as well..." he mumbled, and did so.

She inwardly smiled seeing that his reaction was somewhat nervous. He wasn't used to being around girls, so she decided that she knew how to get free. She could convince him.

"Thank you" she whispered tiredly.

"Hn." he grumbled, standing up and walking downstream a few paces. The girl was going to be more trouble than she was worth.

She knew that she had to do something that she had been trained to do. She decided that instead of fighting him, she'd use him to her advantage, after all, he was a teenage boy. She decided to study him and find out how he ticked.

He picked up his pack from where he'd left it earlier, before the whole waterfall fiasco, and shouldered it.
"Shall we go then?" he questioned, glancing at her over his shoulder.

She frowned and got up gingerly and picked up her own bag, knowing that she didn't really have a choice either.

"I suppose, we should travel until nightfall begins to fall on us. Then we can take a rest"

It always confused her how they would alternate from being savage to one another to being civil.

"That's what I was thinking; let's go then." he said, and turned, beginning to head east. Every hundred meters or so, he'd look over his shoulder to see that she was keeping up.

She glowered as she walked behind him. She hated traveling with others, and ironically this time she had no choice but to do it. She had spent years avoiding traveling in her group, but this time she was held hostage. She sighed and pretended not to see him stare at her every few minutes.

"Is there something on my face?" she asked after the fifth time he looked at her.

He glanced back just to spite her as she said this.
"Nope." he responded, chuckling slightly.

"Then stop staring!" she growled.

She glared and walked ahead trying to out walk him so she wouldn't have to face him looking at her again.

He shrugged, still chuckling and let her walk ahead of him, it worked for him anyway, he wouldn't have to keep looking back at her now. As they walked, he went over the next steps in his plan in his mind, making sure that when he went about executing them, they would be flawless.

She was surprised that he chuckled, something foreign to her. While she was ahead, she just kept walking, not really knowing where they were heading nor where they were. She used this time to think about how she was going to get her freedom. She figured being a girl would be to her advantage for once.

"So where are you leading us?" he called after a while, growing bored of the silence.

She stopped and turned to face him surprised.

"What do you mean where am I leading us?" she said confused. "How the hell am I supposed to know? I don't even know where we are?!"

"Well you stepped up and took the lead... I just assumed you knew where we were going." he smirked.

She glared and walked towards him angrily. She stopped when they were mere inches from each other's face and squinted.

"You are a waste of my time do you know that?" she said angrily.
